WALLACE & GROMIT TAKEOVER
This summer Brabazon will be the proud supporters of Wallace and Gromit trail hosting one of their statues. There will be a range of exciting events and activities coming to the neighbourhood with many ways to take get involved. You can attend one of the events below, organize your own fundraising initiative or simply donate directly to The Grand Appeal.
Reach out to community worker Anna if you have ideas but need a bit of help.
!!! CANCELLED: PLANT A HERB GARDEN
When: Thursday 12th June 3PM - 5PM (new date tbc)
Where: Behind customer car park (What3words: ///peanut.dunes.fence)
Come and help us create a community herb garden and pretty up the Brabazon wildlife corner around the Bug Hotel. Please donate and bring along a herb plant if you can. Some tools will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
BRABFEST 2025
When: Saturday 14th June 3pm - 6pm
Where: Brabazon Green Space by Hangar 16U, BS34 4AE
A celebration of all the fantastic, multi-cultural, diverse individuals at Brabazon with our beloved International food sharing table, free BBQ, bouncy castle, face painting, and The Terraplanes Blues Band LIVE with some more global grooves throughout the day.
BRABAZON TIME CAPSULE BURIAL
When: end of June (tbc)
Where: The Hangar
Be part of history – and the future! We are creating a Brabazon Time Capsule, and we want you to be part of it! You can contribute to it by writing a letter, adding an item, an artefact or a picture of something that reflects you and the life at Brabazon now.
CHARLTON HAYES SUMMER FESTIVAL
When: Sunday, 22nd June
Where: Aerospace Bristol Museum grounds
Charlton Hayes Parish Town Council is putting together a Summer Festival for all the local communities. It will be a day full of fun and entertainment for the whole family. More info coming soon.
SUNSET YOGA AT THE PARK
When: Wednesday, 9th July 7:30pm
Where: The park by Hangar 16U
Join the talented yoga teacher Tanya for some light exercise as the sun sets over Brabazon. This is on a pay-as-you feel basis, and all the funds will go towards supporting our fundraising for The Grand Appeal. Places are limited. All abilities welcome.
GROMIT UNLEASHED 3: A GRAND DAY OUT
When: Saturday, 19th July
Where: the park and across Brabazon
Everyone is invited to a community celebration at Brabazon! Try your hand at circus skills, enjoy artisan coffee, tap your toes to live music, or follow in the footsteps of pioneers along our discovery trail. Stay tuned for more updates coming soon!

A monthly gathering for everyone working from home- to meet, network and have a coffee together.
BRABAZON BOOK CLUB
When: monthly on Wednesdays at 7PM

INTERNATIONAL HUB
When: every Tuesday 5:30-7PM
Where: Concord Church at Aerospace Museum
Join this multicultural group led by certified ESOL teacher and improve your English skills in a fun and informal environment. Everyone is welcome!
CONCORD CHURCH STAY & PLAY
When: every Wednesday 10:00 - 11:30AM

Enjoy a FREE parent and toddler group run by Concord Church every Wednesday morning!
GARDENING GROUP: WE NEED YOU!
We are looking for people to set up a gardening group at Brabazon, that would like to get together to look after the community green spaces at Brabazon, such as The Brabazon Wild Corners, bug and bee hotels and wildflower meadows and be the green advocates for Brabazon. Contact your community worker for some guidance on where to start.
