EASTER GET-TOGETHER

On the 30th of March, families from near and far gathered to celebrate Easter with a delightful egg hunt, a free BBQ, face painting, and a bake sale fundraiser. The weather was fantastic, which was a real blessing for everyone who came and were able to enjoy the first spring sunshine. We were pleased to see many families join us from nearby neighbourhoods.

Well done to all the egg hunters and their grown-ups for navigating the streets of Brabazon on its first egg hunt! There were some real professional egg hunters that you could distinguish right away - they arrived punctually, dressed in bunny ears and Easter colours, and carrying large buckets! You could see in their eyes a total readiness and a sense of competition. They showed no mercy for those who arrived late!

After the hunt, everyone enjoyed freshly grilled hot dogs and a variety of cakes and bakes from Harriet's cake fundraiser stand. (Harriet is raising funds for UNICEF and embarking on a 4-day trek across the Sahara Desert! You can read her story and donate here). On the day, she managed to raise £70!
